of Europe by sailors returning from the Black Sea. The boats carried infected
rats and the streets seemed like paradise when they climb down from the boats.

A: The Black Death stayed in Europe from 1347-1350 but the Plague didn't stop there,
it returned again in 1361, 1374 and 1388.
Q: WHAT CAUSED THE BLACK DEATH?
A: Fleas were infected by germs then the fleas would infect the black rats that they
are living on. When the rats would die the fleas would find refuge on humans. The
fleas would bite the human and the germs would spread through the blood stream.
Q:WHAT DID PEOPLE BELIEVE CAUSED THE BLACK DEATH?
A: People were really scared and confussed because they didn't really know the cause of the Black Death. There were lots of didfferent beliefs. Some believed that god was punishing people, Some believed the people with different religions were poisoning the drinking wells and some even thought the position of the Earth was causing the Plague.
